Dear Kathryn,

Looks like Metamucil is the same except that it has additives to it. Is it better to take the Yerba, which is solely psyllium husks? Thank you.

Dear Friend,
Pure psyllium should be fine; and you might consider a probiotic in addition. Yogurt with live cultures, such as Brown Cow, is excellent; if you use levodopa, be sure to take it at least 30 minutes of the yogurt, as it is protein-rich. An alternative is acidophilus capsules.
Best regards,
