Noah, there has been increasing interest in, and study of, resveratrol, for its possible neuroprotective effects. These effects have been seen in models of Alzheimer’s disease and also of Parkinson’s disease. However, the studies so far have been cell and animal studies; no human studies have been conducted with regard to PD.

Nonetheless, we know that resveratrol appears to be protective against cancer, inflammation, heart disease, and insulin resistance. I do recommend servings of red/purple grape juice, cranberry juice, blueberries, and/or red wine, particularly pinot noir. Supplements may also be useful, but at this time, due to lack of studies, there is no dosage I can recommend.
Best regards,
