Hi Dr. Okun. Could you describe for me the smoothest way to transition from, say, Mirapex 1mg TID to the Neupro patch? :)

These details have not been worked out, but things to consider.

1mg three time a day is a pretty solid dose of Mirapex. Neuropro is typically given in 2,4, and 6mg patches. You may start in the middle with 4mg's with your doc and then you and your doc can see if you need more or less. Alternatively, you could start at 2 and titrate up. There are many ways to do this.
