Rytary

Recommended Posts

My Neurologist told me about a new form of L-Dopa that's about to be released called Rytary. As you're most likely aware, Rytary is an extended release oral L-DOPA formulation that is comprised of small beads. The beads release L-DOPA slowly as it goes through the small intestine.

Any idea when Rytary will actually be available for PWPs?

Ah yes this super pill that everyone has been eagerly awaiting. Unfortunately for my mom it won't mean a thing since it sounds like it has to be swallowed whole which she won't.

About Rytary

This is the extended release dopamine drug NPF has been following and it now has a name Rytary instead of IPX066. The hope is that it will "come on faster" and last a little longer...
