Smartphone touch screens?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm an occupational therapy student currently doing fieldword in an outpatient clinic. I have a patient with severe hand tremor and has had difficulty navigating smartphone touch screens. It seems most smartphones these days have super sensitive touch screens that work great for your average joe, but not so much for someone with hand tremors.

We're looking at iphone options, however I haven't found a way to turn down touch sensitivity in the settings or an app for doing so. Has anyone had a similar experience and been successful with a certain phone or operating system? I think android is more accessible as far as customization goes, but it would be nice to find a device that has simple setting adjustments for touch sensitivity. I would appreciate any advice you might have.
