What's up with all the ads and pop-ups?

3 posts in this topic

I just turned on my browser, which opens to the NPF Forum new content page. It has tons of ads and annoying pop-ups, even whole ad pages that seem to open without any action on my part when moving from a post back to the new content page! It is extremely distracting, and it was not this way yesterday.

Certain words within the posts are double underlined in green, and these lead to more ads.

I have checked the other pages on my browser and this is not happening there. Is this permanent or some sort of bug? I, for one, vote NOT to have ads!

I would appreciate a response.  Thank you.

Dianne, no pop ups when I  open...have you tried deleting your cookies plus run a scan of your computer.

can you please supply a screenshot of what you are seeing and send it to forumadmin@parkinson.org ?

As Island Woman previously stated, I would definitely run a malware and antivirus scan of your computer.

Thank you
