Buzzy head

Recommended Posts

My husband was diagnosed w/Parkinson's last June. Since then, his most troubling non-motor symptom is a "buzzing" lightheadedness he feels quite often. He says it's like an "inner aggitation" that makes his head feel like it's buzzing. Anyone heard of this or know of any suppliments that could help? He's really feeling down about this... especially since we don't know how to alleviate it! ANY suggestions would be appreciated!

I think that I know the feeling.  It usually occurs when I have had poor sleep.  To ward it off, I have become very attentive to my sleep needs.  I

hope that the fix can be as simple as that for your husband.

This has been a problem for me for quite a while.  Like Stevo said, sleep helps a great deal.  But making sure that my diet is balanced and that I'm getting enough magnesium has been very helpful.  Its not a cure all, but it has made a big difference for me.  I've also found that the best kind of magnesium (for me anyway) is citrate.  I hope he can find some relief!

I've had this off and on for awhile.  I was doing better for awhile but it is back again.  I don't have it in the morning.  So stress, fatigue or something else seems to cause it.  If you figure out what will stop it let me know!

It sounds like the feeling I get before my dyskineasa starts going. I can feel it build and then the flailing starts.Lately Ive almost got rid of it by severely cutting down to 4 25/100 a day with 1 8 my ropinerol sr.Ive strated adding 1 more 25/100 and can feel it comming back some..I might substitue 2 mg ropinerolfor the added dose.

Sounds funny but where i get care the "nurse" told me the meds are up to me what i want to do.Why bother see a MD doc.when you got to do it yourself.lol

Now im realy confident Ill get a great job if I go for DBS.

Im glad i got the method from Dr. low cause i know there it is up to mefor stress, lol
