Profile pictures can have the following extensions:



Profile pictures an be up to 10kb in size.


Posts can contain up to 25 images per post

Images can be of the following type:  gif,jpeg,jpg,png

Each post can be up to 200kb in size (including pictures)

Posted media can be up to 199 x 199 (in pixels)


In place of attaching pictures you can link to other pictures on the internet.


If your pictures are larger than the allowed size, then you will have to resize your pictures before attaching them to your post or profile.

I had this problem and was helped by some techie members on forum. Basically edit the photo in a photo editing software (I did mine in windows vs Mac) until you get it reduced to the size allowed and it will upload no problem.

Thanks for info. from site tech and living with Tau .  I will need one of my kids to do it next time they're here as still unable.  Not sure if I even have the right programs to compress pix. Computer whiz I am not! Micki

Michael, I'm using a windows but don't think I still have windows office anymore.  Like I said I probably should get my sons to do this as I am stuck! Micki
