Hi everybody.......my Dr's  told me they think I have Parkinson but later said they don't think I have it...then they said I might have lupus then said I don't show the symptoms. I am betting on old age.....but let me tell you how I feel.....maybe one of you can say what I might have......I feel drunk and struggling to get out of a pool of mud.....

HI oorah,

I have felt similar symptoms like struggling to walk in a pool of mud or trying to walk in a shallow pool of water, before and I was eventually diagnosed with pd 4yrs later, when I started having motor symptoms.Pd is usually diagnosed based on multiple symptoms after physical examinations, and a confirmatory DAT scan exam, depending on the MD.I got a first, second and a third opinion from neurologists and a motor specialist, before being diagnosed.I would refer you to  "ASK THE MD FORUM" to discuss about all your symptoms.

Take care.

Only a guess and shouldn't be taken seriously, but what you described suggest PD. My best suggestion is to find the nearest Movement Disorder specialist.
